Recently, my son said he wants to write books like me. I told him he could, all he needed to do was create a story. So a few days later, I asked him if he had an idea and what he came up with was a story about our ferret Rope going on an adventure. So I wrote down they story, drew up some digital art (tried to make it look kiddish) and put the file together. These are some of the pictures from the 24 page, full color children’s book. All money he makes off of print and Kindle sales will go into his savings account.

I’ve never actually entered an art contest on deviantART, but thought I would give it a try. Scrolling through DireWolfwere’s character art, the reference drawing of Inku caught my eye, so I thought I would give her a try. Done completely on my drawing tablet. I used mostly the “airbrush” brush, the background being the exception when I used the “chalk” brush head. Quickly done, though I think it turned out pretty neat looking. I’m terrible with drawing weapons, though, lol.

While I have always found it easy to write about worlds and characters that I can envision in my mind, I suddenly found myself at a loss when asked to write about writing. My book, "Falls the Shadow" is going to be part of a blog tour. The problem lies in the matter that I must write two articles about writing. I've toyed around with a few ideas, but can hardly seem to get more than about ten sentences in. Any suggestions?
